Benefits of Technology in Service Delivery.
For years, teachers and parents have discussed the benefits
of homework because the word itself conjures up negative feelings in everyone
involved: students, parents, and teachers. While many people feel that homework
does more harm than good by putting everyone under undue stress, others believe
that it benefits children by allowing them to think creatively outside of the
classroom.
Assignment of homework has a number of benefits.
The first advantage of homework is that it encourages students and teachers to collaborate more closely. Before or after school, they should talk about their assignments or any issues they're having with sections of their textbooks.
The second advantage is that it may bring families closer together because students may seek help with their homework from their parents or siblings. This will not only help students understand their work and any sections they are stuck on, but it will also encourage parents to become more involved in their children's education.
Finally, doing homework will help students prepare for the major end-of-the-year exams. If a child fails to complete an assignment, they will learn what they need to know in order to pass the next exam without being disciplined. It also gives students the chance to learn the skills necessary for academic success. As the saying goes, practice makes better.
Homework is also an excellent way to foster responsibility. They would establish a sense of punctuality by handing in their work on time after being assigned work one day and understanding that it must be completed by the next day.
Finally, it helps parents to observe how their children are taught, allowing them to better understand how they can assist their children. However, some parents, students, and even some teachers believe that expecting students to come home and work for another three hours after 7-8 hours of lessons in school is unreasonable.
